Our much loved narrow boat "Lazy Dayz" is now available for sale and all resonable offers are welcomed. We lived on our canal boat with our daughter as live-aboards and found her to have amble space for living, that is living without junk. With ample room on a 55ft boat and a specially made removable cot side to keep our daughter safe. The warmth of the boat came from the Morso stove we had installed, which we had linked up to our ebersabcher heating system. The best of both worlds - real wood/coal heating or instance blast of heat from the eberspacher heater. If would like to see or find out more then please contact BWML Brokerage on 0115 9077406.
Before we purchased her a new set of batteries (1 engine and 4 domesic) were updated. We have had the boat blacked (bottom painted) last year in 2011, the morso stove is also new as of last year and linked to the radiators. We had some hoops added to the roof of the narrow boat hatch for a chair that we sat our 2 year old daughter in whist out on the glorious canals.
We found that living on a boat our bills were reduced significantly. If you want to have lower expenditures or possibly want to rent a cheap house then a boat is an ideal opportunity. We spent time outside and felt in-tune with the weather and seasons. During our time on the boat we had one of the hottest summers and coldest winters but we survived. It was tough at times but always worth the effort - and maybe that was one of the appealing factors was to put effort into life. Not just flipping a switch and getting warmth, but having to make that warmth but geting coal or filling up with diesel.
With a 55ft boat you will be able to access all of England's canal systems - any longer and you limit your access. Any wider and you restrict access even more.
Dare you live the dream and be part of England's heritage? Do you want to downsize and reduce your monthly bills? Are you ready for new challenges in your life but supported by friendly and helpful people? Wondered what it would be like to be in the boat rather than looking enviously from the shore? Take this opportunity and dance on the ripples of life.
